FACTS ABOUT KRIK IN NORWAY

KRIK was established in 1981 in Norway with the aim to inspire Christian athletes to stand up for their belief in their athletic clubs. Initially, KRIK was mainly directed towards elite athletes, but this has changed. Today, KRIK wants to include all youths independent of their sport level. KRIK is not an athletic union, that is, the important objective is to participate rather than to win. KRIK-NORWAY consists of more than 130 local clubs spread all over the country.

KRIKs OBJECTIVE

KRIKs vision is to gather youths and children, and through games and sports help them to develop higher self-esteem and confidence and to create a better local social environment. 

KRIK wants to:

     · Spread the Gospel, and bring youths

       together to share ideas and

       experience about Jesus Christ.

     · Create joy through sports.

     · Include all kind of youths,

       independent of abilities,

       sex, age and beliefs.
